Along with acting, my main focus when doing my work in Drama and Performance, is using comedy. Personally, I like to entertain, so I think the only way to get 100% satisfaction from your audience, is to make them leave the performance in stitches. This gives me great satisfaction.

Specialties in Comedy

I have many specialties in comedy. I can do verbal comedy quite well, but one of my strong points in comedy, is my ability to do Visual Comedy (movements and physical) quite well. I have a skill to make quite addictive characters by using common stereotyping (what we think people do and look like. e.g.. Politicians being dumb) and adding funny catch phrases to them.

Studies In Comedy

Mainly, my comedy comes from the changing perspective of the media. A good example of this is the hit comedy Full Frontal (aka Fast Forward), where the media is the main focus of their comedy. I have also studied a lecture titled 'Funny Business' by the master of comedy, Rowan Atkinson, where he teaches the best way to pull off a joke.

Works in Comedy

Some of my not well known works include 'The Christian Channel', where a African American Christian preacher is a con artist and magically 'cures' people wounds and sicknesses by placing a big amount of money in a collection box. This becomes funny when a disabled boy, based on the hit comedy South Park, named Jimmy gets his turn, when trouble happens. I was also a part of many theater games where I had taken the roles of a man from Survivor and a Man who falls in love with two lesbians (HEAPS FUNNY!!!)

Work in Progress in Comedy

I am currently working on a Politically correct member of society, who tells the stories as they are. This character will be similar to Paul Livingston's 'Flacco' as seen on Good News Week. But there is a new twist to it........just haven't figured it out yet!
